I grew up in Utah and have lived on each coast of the United States, eventually settling in Washington State. As a child, my curiosity and imagination were fostered with many long hours spent exploring the outdoors. I’m still inspired by the color variances found in nature and one of my favorite things are the open skies, in particular, Nebulae. I have always had a passion for art from a very young age and am mostly self-taught, which has allowed me to have unbounded experimentation in abstract expressionism. My work is in both soft pastels as well as acrylics, and I have consistently shown my work since 2009. I have grown as an artist from a fearful first show at a senior center and really started began pushing myself in 2015 to start transitioning from an emerging artist to an established artist.
