253 Collective 1st Annual Cell Phone Photo Contest

October is Art Month and 253 Collective

would like everyone to become an artist.

Take a photo using your cell phone during October and post the best 6 to the contest. Best photos will be eligible for prizes and will be on display at the 253 Collective gallery starting in November 20 for Art Mingle. Top Three winners will receive a gift card from Metro Coffee or The Swiss and a copy of their photos. There will be other photos recognized for special achievements. Those photos will be on displayed and the photographers will receive the copy of their photos following the exhibit in December.

Please read rules below.

Rules

  1. Photos must be taken with a cell phone and that cell phone MUST have the 253 area code.

  2.  All photos must be taken between the dates of October 1 – October 31, 2014.

  3.  Any post processing can be use to enhance the photo(s).

  4. Only 6 entries per person.

  5.  Photographer keeps rights to any photo(s) entered but 253 Collective can use the image in a photo exhibit and to promote the photo exhibit and contest.

  6.  Photos can be posted to Flickr. From your Flickr account you can add up to six photos to the Flickr group for the contest.  https://www.flickr.com/groups/253cellphonecontest2014

  7.  If you don’t have a Flickr account you can post photos to the #253cellphonecontest to add photos to our instagram or twitter.

  8. All photos must be posted by November 5, 2014.
